The mission of Be Yourself Counseling is to offer a steady and grounded space where individuals of all ages can lay down the weight they have been carrying and begin to grow with intention. I am committed to trauma informed, direct, and compassionate therapy that honors your story while helping you move beyond survival. From complex relational wounds to the quiet burnout of always being the strong one, my work supports clients in reconnecting with themselves, regulating their nervous systems, and stepping into a life that feels more authentic and purposeful.

Support for Trauma, Attachment Wounds & Nervous System Repair
Integrative trauma therapy using EMDR, Deep Brain Reorientation (DBR), Somatic and Embodiment based approaches, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Trauma Focused CBT, and DBT informed skills to support healing from painful or distressing experiences. Treatment focuses on processing trauma, strengthening emotional regulation, increasing nervous system awareness, and supporting healing from attachment wounds, relational trauma, chronic illness or pain, and the emotional impact of navigating a neurotypical world.
Walk and Talk Therapy
Walk and talk therapy offers an alternative to traditional office based sessions by incorporating movement, nature, and mindful awareness into the therapy process. Offered near New Port Richey, Florida, this approach may support emotional regulation, grounding, stress reduction, and nervous system connection while creating space for reflection and meaningful conversation. Walk and talk therapy may be helpful for individuals who feel more comfortable processing emotions while moving, spending time outdoors, or connecting with the environment.

For when weekly therapy feels like it is only scratching the surface. Therapy intensives offer a focused, supportive space to slow down, go deeper, and work through trauma, anxiety, and stuck patterns with more time and intention. Offered in 3, 5, or 10 hour formats, intensives may include EMDR, Deep Brain Reorientation, somatic and embodiment based therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Trauma Focused CBT, and DBT informed skills. This approach is designed for clients who feel ready for deeper healing, want more than traditional weekly sessions can offer, and are seeking meaningful movement while still honoring safety, pacing, nervous system regulation, and the unique timing of their healing process.
